Peter Vardy wanted to create a WOW factor solution for CarStore, their new car showroom in Hillington on the outskirts of Glasgow. Their newly appointed Property Director gave us a list of the type of furniture they were looking for including; soft seating, stools, breakout area tables and chairs.
InteriorsTeam created a presentation around a selection of suitable products for this project. We then met with their Creative and Marketing teams to ensure that the final proposal would neatly integrate with their own ideas for the new project. Peter Vardy chose the Allermuir Pause sofas in a variety of vibrant colours, accompanied by low tables, Mollie high stools, Conic tub chairs and circular dining tables with City chairs. We even provided the bean bags for the children’s play area.
The furniture required for this project needed to be turned around quickly so InteriorsTeam delivered and installed all the furniture on time in order to allow the new CarStore to open its doors to the public in December 2013. The overall impression when visiting the site, which covers 75,000 square foot, is that this is a destination dealership which prides itself on customer experience. Families are treated to a relaxed environment which features a colourful children’s play area, games consoles, pinball machines and a sumptuous coffee shop housed in an ice-cream van.
Following on from the success of this, InteriorsTeam was then asked to complete a £250,000 refurbishment project of the Peter Vardy Edinburgh showroom, in which Peter Vardy had originally planned to use their old furniture for. It was our competitive pricing and excellent service levels which helped secure this project.
Peter Vardy Ltd is very pleased with the furniture at both dealerships and they look forward to working with InteriorsTeam in the future.
